Dear
Friends and colleagues, Sisters and Brothers in the Ethnic Press and
Media: The
second week of May is dedicated by the United Nations in honor of the
“Freedom of the Press”. To this extend the National Ethnic Press and
Media Council of Canada as the previous years, and this year is organizing
a weekly exhibition of the Ethnic Press of Canada, at the Rotunda (Main
Floor), of the Toronto City Hall. During the week of the exhibition we are
expecting more than 20.000 visitors to visit and see the news papers in
exhibit. From the participating papers and media a committee of the NEPMCC
will decide to recognize the best 14 publications later in the year. To
this extend today I am asking all of you to submit to my office two
different issues of you publication (one copy of each), along with few
words about the publication and yourself in order to be placed together
with your publication. Please
also refer you full address and telephone number with your email address. There
is no charges involved in this event and
the participation is totally free. Please
